I design and build custom websites during off hours. I work full-time as a career center specialist for the Alabama Department of Labor. When I'm not at work or spending time with my family, I am learning and building. I can build websites with pictures, descriptions, contact information and other content. I am a self-taught developer, and most of my certifications are through freeCodeCamp.
I assist guests of an Alabama Career Center in filing their unemployment claims. I also help with common issues which arise in the course of processing the claim, such as submitting paperwork, gathering additional information, or advising the claimant when they have major concerns.

I am a family man with three children. My wife is a major source of motivation for me. I am a Navy veteran with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have a burning desire to learn new skills and create with the skills I have learned. I have an excellent understanding of the English language, and I can communicate with every socioeconomic group (I can roll with anybody).
I started studying HTML/CSS/JavaScript in August of 2022. In February of this year, I earned the JavaScript Algorithms Certification from freecodecamp.org. After more than 18 months of learning, reading, practicing, youtubing, I am finally ready to start creating and learning new programming skills, constantly extending my potential, and providing real solutions to the market.
I used my work history as content in a freecodecamp project I completed. It's an extended resume in technical documentation format. Feel free to check it out.
